Microsoft has revealed October 2022’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles.
On Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, subscribers will be able to claim Windbound (normally $19.99 / £17.99) from October 1-31.
Bomber Crew Deluxe Edition (normally $24.99/ £22.49) will be available as a free download from October 16 to November 15.

“Washed up on an uncharted island, you must use your will and skill to survive,” reads the description for Winbond. “Play as Kara, shipwrecked on the Forbidden Islands with nothing but what you can build or find. You’ll need to craft weapons and tools to survive.”
The entry for Bomber Crew Deluxe Edition reads: “Listen up fliers! We’re recruiting you to take on extremely high-risk missions in this World War II strategic flying and bombing game. Once you’re up in the air, danger is everywhere. It’s up to you to manage the fuel, ammo, and hydraulics while trying to avoid enemy gunners. Even the weather can bring you down. Keep your crew safe and focused and bring home victory.”
Last month’s games included Gods Will Fall, Double Kick Heroes and Thrillville.
Microsoft confirmed earlier this year that Xbox Games with Gold will no longer include Xbox 360 titles beginning in October 2022.
“We’re always looking at ways to evolve the Xbox experience based on community engagement, feedback and shifting company priorities,” a Microsoft spokesperson told VGC.
“We have reached the limit of our ability to bring new games to the catalog from the past due to licensing and technical constraints. We will continue to focus on providing Xbox One titles through the Games with Gold program.”
