Samsung has announced that its new game streaming discovery platform, which unifies Xbox Cloud Gaming, GeForce Now and Google Stadia, has launched for select TVs.

Samsung Gaming Hub is now available for all 2022 Samsung Smart TVs at no additional cost. The app also doesn’t require any additional hardware.

Amazon Luna will be coming to the platform at a later date, Samsung said on Thursday.

“Additionally, Samsung’s latest AI upscaling technology optimizes game graphics, providing incredible 4K and 8K resolution with high color accuracy and sharpness,” it claimed.

The Gaming Hub will also incorporate apps such as  Twitch, YouTube, and Spotify directly on the Gaming Hub. it’s unclear if they’ll be accessible in-game in the same way that PS5 allows players to mix Spotify music with in-game soundtracks.

The 2022 Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, QLEDs and 2022 Smart Monitor Series televisions are included in the first roll-out of the technology. It’s unclear if Samsung plans to go back and include some popular 2021 models of television.

“With expanding partnerships across leading game streaming services and expert curated recommendations, players will be able to easily browse and discover games from the widest selection available, regardless of platform,” said Samsung’s Won-Jin Lee in a prepared statement.
