A father-to-be brought an entire gaming system to the hospital while his partner was in labour and the video went viral.
The TikTok clip was recorded by the partner herself.
In the video, the man can be seen wearing his headset and playing a game.
“My boyfriend brought his entire gaming system to the hospital during my 21-hour long induction,” TikTok user Amber captioned the video.
The viral TikTok has garnered more than 1.6 million views, 43,000 likes, and 3,200 comments with the internet divided on whether or not the father was right in doing so.
“Wow. Red flag, friend,” one user commented.
“I love my games but I’ve never attempted to do this got better things to worry about,” said another user.
Some viewers defended the man.
“I went through a long induction process as well and I definitely wouldn’t have minded if my kid’s father brought his game,” a user shared her opinion
The mother, however, shared that she was “okay” with her partner’s action.
